The fit is spot on and the fabric is stretchy so that helps. I'm typically a 14-16 in women's standard clothing and the XL fit great. I'm also short so the length is fine for me (I'm 4'11" and the bottom of the dress hits about 2-3 inches below my knees). My only issue is the material which I should have expected but I wished this was less shiny/polyester-y. It's not super shiny but it does have a sheen to it so the dress looks a bit cheap.Absolutely love this! The dress has a ton of stretch, and fits perfectly without being to tight. I have a DD chest and often have a hard time finding dresses that aren't too tight on my chest or draw attention to my stomach. This lays so nicely it doesn't emphasize any of my problem areas. The pattern is awesome and I will totally be ordering more cow cow dresses in the future. I usually wear a 16/18 with 40DD chest. I ordered a 3x and it fit with extra room in the chest and under the arms.I love cow cow products. These dresses have such cute patterns. The material is like that silky feeling stretch polyester. They run a little big. I'm a curvy size 8 and its big in the waist, but not so big that I can't wear it. I think a small would be too small. My favorite dress ! Runs short & slightly small. I ordered XL because of larger bust. Normally I wear a medium. It runs short(I’m 5’5ā€) so the XL gave me more length , rite above knee. Very comfy! Always get compliments when I wear it.After I purchased my 1st Cowcow dress I immediately went back to Amazon and started my Cowcow Wishlist and today I can proudly say that I have 100's in my list, but I own at least one maybe 2 for every month of the year from seasonal to just fun or funny. I plan on collecting several more as time goes on.Was sent an XL when I ordered an XS but I was planning on altering it anyway so it wasn't that big of a deal. Nice fabric, quality print, very stretchy! This is what I expected for the price- a cute dress made from synthetic material. Pros include that it drapes nicely and is an appropriate length.Cons- fabric feels like it won't breathe at all, so I would wear it in cooler weather or climate controlled environments.I am giving it 3 stars because of what it is, it's not an excellent dress because of the material. It is average.I'll confess, this is my first purchase from this company. I love the idea of these dresses that come in such unique patterns but this is a no for me.These dresses are all the same (I ordered 3). They are all made with this weird swimsuit material, which would be fine if this was a swimsuit or swimdress, but it's not. I can't get past the bad fabric. Yuck. Not only that, the quality of the dress isn't there. It's like this was made in a Home Ec class - and it LOOKS like it was made in a home ec class. I can't get over that either. There's nothing wrong with home ec clothing -- if you're in Jr. High and want to show off the shorts you made, like I did, back in the '90s. But I'm an adult now and I don't want clothing with a home made look to it. So it's going back. Sorry, CowCow, this isn't for me.
