I have mixed feeling about this dress, largely because I just don’t think the drape of the fabric matches what I saw on the pictures. It’s pretty, it’s modest, I like the color and so-on. It has a substantial weight to it that lends an air of quality. But It just doesn’t have the drape or lightness in the skirt I had expected and hoped for. It hangs straight down and looks almost a bit stiff that way, like it wants to stay there regardless of how your body moves. Washing it might make a difference, but then again I am always hesitant to try accordion folded skirts because they all seem like they want to stay folded shut. Maybe that just me. Overall though, it’s a pretty decent dress.
