This is a gorgeous dress! However, I wish they would've put the length in the description because it was way too long for me so I had to return it and they didn't give me a full refund for some reason? I got almost a full, but they shorted me $16.00 for some reason. Had I known the length to begin with, I would NOT have bought it knowing it would be too long for me.Was planning to wear to granddaughter's wedding but need to alter if I keep it.Love the fact the jacket comes with it for my currently flabby arms, flattering and stretchty lace. Both the belt fasteners broke the 2nd time I tried it on, probably an easy fix for anyone that remotely knows how to sew. The belt fits high and almost uncomfortable (needed to pull it down for photos and it flipped over a couple of times) but dress can camouflage large hip/thighs/tummy area. I think it will alter to a knee length as well so I can wear it again after the wedding. I was impressed the length was PERFECT for me with a medium height heel. No alterations needed, true to size....Purchased as a mother of the bride dress. At 5'2" I expected any floor length dress purchased would be 6-8 inches too long. I purchased both the size 4 and the 6. As expected both were too long on me. However, the 4 was just a hair small (too tight under the arms) so I kept the 6. (The free return was nice and is now fully processed, even the original shipping cost was refunded). As expected I am having the overall length adjusted. This is to be expected as I am relatively short and this was sized for a more regular height person. The only thing I was a bit un-happy with... the jacket was stretched out at the top of the shoulders, giving the appearance of "horns" sticking out. I was able to tuck this extra material under and re-stitch and it now looks great. Note: the size 4 did not have this issue, only the size 6. That is the only reason this was not given a 5 star. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and love the color. It was just what I was looking for. Also, regarding adjusting the length, the lacey layers only need to be trimmed (no hemming required)so only the inner layer will need to be hemmed. This will make the length adjustment fairly easy.Ordered this dress for a formal banquet, nice dress but I decided that I wanted a shorter dress.I'm 5'3" 145 lbs, 38" chest, D cup. I ordered size 10. Length was great, no need to hem or wear heels. Dress fit nicely. "Jacket" is flimsy. It's pretty, but delicate. It's a stretchy lace and problem is it kept creeping over to my underarms. The material would just roll over my breast. It was too small of a fit, especially compared to dress which fit well.If you are busty, and in between sizes, go larger size than you'd normally wear so the jacket will fit you. The quality was good. Made well. Color is not Champagne but rather a Taupe with a pinkish/purple hue. Tan shoes clash, and black is too much contrast, you'll have to buy taupe shoes, or silver/gold. I hope this review is helpful.This dress arrived and was exactly the color it showed. It fit perfect and I didn't even have to get it pressed. I ordered it for my granddaughter's wedding and it was just what I wanted. I got lots of compliments on it tooI love this dress, and most of the designers dresses; however, the belt did not fit around me, even though the dress fit perfectly! Also, both inner clips on the belt were only sewn on in one hole of the fasteners...they were just hanging on by a thread literally so whomever did this did a poor job! The belt should be made to be adjustable with clear clips in a few areas to give you 1-2 inches of lead way. Had it not been for the belt I would have given this 5 stars!!
